JamLabs customisation: JamLabs adds coloured display filters to Casio AE-1200 base watches. Where JamLabs replaces a strap, it uses an unbranded aftermarket strap.

THE WATCH

Individually modified and checked by Jamie at JamLabs using a genuine Casio AE-1200. The JamLabs Amber Leather pairs a warm amber/orange display treatment with a brown genuine leather strap for a more classic, understated take on the AE-1200.

The combination is deliberately retro. The warm tones of the display sit in interesting contrast to the digital World Time layout, making this a watch that reads as both classic and a little unexpected.

Display note: The amber/orange appearance comes from the custom display/filter treatment. It is not glowing, neon or self-illuminating.

STRAP & FIT

This build is fitted with a brown genuine leather 18 mm strap. It mounts directly to the AE-1200 using a standard watch spring bar, so no adaptor is required. The strap has a polished silver buckle and traditional adjustment holes.

Each Amber Leather is individually modified, assembled and checked by Jamie at JamLabs in the UK. Small variations may occur because every watch is worked on by hand.
