A NOTE ON ARTWORK
Personalised builds can use original artwork, colour palettes and personal designs that you own or have permission to use. Third-party characters, logos and artwork can only be included where the required permission covers their use on the finished watch. Please provide written evidence of that permission with your enquiry. Where permission is unavailable, we can discuss an original design, colours and materials instead.

- Approve and confirm — once you're happy with the proposal, you confirm the order and pay

- Shipped to you — securely packaged and ready to wear

How long does a custom build take?
Build times vary depending on the complexity of the request. A realistic estimate is included with every quote, so you'll know what to expect before you confirm your order.
Can I choose the display colours?
Yes — display filter colour is one of the main things you can discuss when you enquire. Options are subject to the display treatments currently available from JamLabs, which I'll confirm when I respond to your enquiry.
Do the coloured displays glow?
No. Display filters alter the appearance of the LCD — they are not permanently illuminated, glowing or neon. The original Casio AE-1200 backlight remains amber/orange, exactly as it left the factory.
Can I ask for a themed build?
Yes, original concepts, colours and materials can be discussed. Third-party characters, logos or artwork require written permission covering their use on the finished watch. Without that permission, those elements cannot be included.
Is the watch still water resistant after modification?
The genuine Casio AE-1200 carries a manufacturer water-resistance rating. Because the watch is opened during modification, JamLabs cannot independently guarantee that rating is maintained after the custom work is completed. I'd recommend treating any modified watch with the same caution you'd apply to a non-rated watch around water.
